Who are we?

The Graphic Design Senior Student Association (GDSSA) is the senior class in the Visual Communication Design Program at Arizona State University. We are a resilient group of 54 passionate designers who have persevered through online learning and the pandemic and are now forging new ground to combine the digital and physical worlds.

What is the poster show?

Since 2001, GDSSA has hosted a poster show in the Fall semester. Traditionally, the Poster Show has been a strictly physical event, until 2020’s first ever fully digital show. This year for our 16th annual poster show, Pressed for Paper, we are fusing the best of both experiences into a hybrid show featuring both a virtual silent auction and a live auction!

We are auctioning off posters from around the world to raise money for our Senior Exhibition in Spring 2024. You can bid on the collection of over 500 unique posters in a silent auction from 12:00 p.m. on November 6th, until the section close on November 9th. Then at 6:00 p.m. on November 9th, join us in the Novus Innovation Corridor to finish up your silent auction bids and participate in a live auction of high quality posters — exclusive to the physical event!

Posters are only available for in-person pickup, either during the November 9th event or during our Final Pickup on November 20th. Unfortunately, we cannot ship posters at this time.
